DEAD RECKONING, a four-piece American metal band hailing from Columbus, GA, is a relentless powerhouse with a mission – to be the sledgehammer smashing through all the walls of "fuckery." Founded in late 2012 by guitarist Mike "K-OS" Spriggs, an active-duty soldier at the time, the band has evolved into an unshakable unit, unyielding in its dedication to the metal genre.
Despite several lineup changes over the years, DEAD RECKONING's current lineup consists of some exceptional talents. Mike "K-OS" Spriggs, known for his tornado riffs and face-melting solos. Vocalist "Bleghboii" Taylor Monroe's monstrous vocals and high-energy stage presence. Drummer Ryan Lake keeps the tempo with his hard-hitting technical precision and Brian "BRAYNE" Silverstein's thunderous bass lines provide the unshakable foundation for the band.
Their journey has been punctuated by a triumphant full-length studio album, 'Rise of the Fallen,' released in 2019, which was accompanied by a music video for the title track. The band and their crew embarked on three US tours, covering nearly all of the lower 48 states, forging friendships and sharing the stage with incredible bands along the way.
The band's recent releases, "mediApocalypse," "PAWNS," and "Gallows," are just a glimpse of what's to come in their second full-length album, 'As It All Burns.' Produced by Ahrue Luster, a former Machine Head and Ill Niño guitarist.
In 2023, the band kicked off their monumental 'Dead Army Take Over Tour,' dominating stages in all 48 contiguous states. During this time, Taylor Monroe continued his 'vocal battles' like we saw with Alex Terrible at the end of 2022, with renowned vocalists, such as, Chris Fronz, The Orc King, David Simonich and even an Indiana police officer.
DEAD RECKONING has had the privilege of sharing the stage with some of the most iconic and brutal bands in the metal scene, including Metallica, Slipknot, Lamb of God, Gojira, Rob Zombie, Signs of the Swarm, Carnifex and many more. They've rocked festivals like Welcome to Rockville, Blue Ridge Rock Festival, and multiple Slaughter Que fests in their home state.
Their journey has been a wild ride, and they show no signs of slowing down. The saga of DEAD RECKONING is far from over, and they can't wait to see you at their next performance, so make sure you follow them on your platform of choice to be the first to know when they come through your state!
